The Red Hat Linux operating system from Red Hat, Inc., is a leader in enterprise Linux and one of the most recognized open source brands in the world.

OSM’s cosbatch software has run on Red Hat Linux since the 4.2 version was released in 1997, providing users with over ten years of unbroken support on the operating system.

The cosbatch user interface is written in Java and utilizes the Glassfish web application server, both products made available under open source licenses.  Version 3.2 of cosbatch will also incorporate a MySQL database, another open source product.

The cosbatch software works on both Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Fedora platforms.

cosbatch also incorporates technology for automatically importing details of existing job schedules from the Linux crontab files.  Transitioning from cron based schedules to using cosbatch is therefore a simple task.

In short, the cosbatch technologies fall happily in line with those of Red Hat.

cosbatch is used by many Red Hat Linux users worldwide.  Our Red Hat Linux user population includes banks, mutual societies, manufacturers and central and local government.
